Position Summary:
The Analyst is responsible for analyzing tooling data from multiple sources to deliver actionable insights that strengthen tool control and operational readiness. Interprets data to support decision-making, improve tooling processes, enhance forecasting accuracy, and ensure tools remain available, compliant, and properly allocated across the network. Monitors performance metrics, identifies trends, supports policy alignment, and drives continuous improvement across the tooling operation.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead support for the Tooling Standardization Program by performing gap analyses, validating TRAX data, and developing standardized processes and KPIs.
- Build dashboards and reporting tools with IT, Data Science, and BI to improve visibility into calibration status, tool availability, and allocation.
- Analyze inventory data to set and refine min/max stock levels based on station size, workload, and maintenance needs.
- Reclassify and standardize tool categories; updated TRAX/tooling databases to improve accuracy for audits and forecasting.
- Monitor station tooling levels and usage trends to align allocations with operational demand.
- Produce key tooling metrics including availability, RO performance, calibration compliance, quarantine aging, and readiness.
- Forecast calibration cycles, load tests, and preventive maintenance; created dashboards for vendor performance and cost trends.
- Analyze historical usage to forecast tool demand and support business cases for new tooling.
- Track quarantine items, vendor turnaround, and SLA compliance; identified patterns and recommended corrective actions.
- Recommend process improvements using data trends and station behavior insights.
