Job Responsibilities:
This is a temporary position to train the potential candidate for a direct-hire position based on performance.
• Review procurement files to generate subcontract closeout documents and change orders to ensure compliance prior to issuance and closeout of each file to mitigate risk and liability to CLIENT.
• Work with functional areas to obtain information and documentation needed for closeout.
• Ensure subcontract files are in accordance with established procedures prior to closeout.
• Track progress and provide the status of assigned closeouts.
• Understand basic accounting concepts to calculate amounts paid and remaining amounts per subcontract line.
• Must prioritize learning CLIENT policies and procedures in order to complete roles and responsibilities.
Required Skills
• Advanced skills in Client Word and Excel
• Understanding basic accounting concepts is highly recommended.
• Exceptional attention to detail, data-driven mindset, analytical problem solver, self-motivated, takes initiative and provides comprehensive work product.
• Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree or 1-2 years of equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
• Previous Government Subcontracting experience is a plus.
• Previous compliance-related work experience is a plus.
