About the role

In this role, you will work in a team that acts as an interface of Cargo Revenue Management with Cargo Hub operations. You will perform all activities related to finalizing shipment booking list, re-profiling flight loads within capacity and releasing flights to Cargo Hub Operations ensuring shipments get desired priorities. Also process & repair offloaded shipments to safeguard shipments quality and achieve high flown as planned level. The role will be responsible for maintaining quality by minimizing cargo offloads for all flights departing from DOH Hub and yet maximizing capacity utilization in the QR network.

Additionally, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive data analytics.

Other responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:

• Perform flight release for all flights within agreed service level agreement to Cargo Hub Operations. Prepare and handover to Cargo Hub Operations a booking list including loading priorities and applicable loading instructions through Qatar Airways Cargo reservation system.
• Execute desired quality and compatibility checks for the shipments which are subject to different aircraft types within the broader categories such as freighters, passenger wide body and narrow body.
• Make sure the flight is released to operations either as per the optimal unit load device configuration based on the cargo type booked on the flight, or as per required Unit Load Device for network balance with no or minimum impact on the uplift.
• Process offload queues within the target Service Level Agreement as per queue management process with the objective of offering recovery of impacted shipments, within 24Hours of the offload, and protect sensitive loads on the earliest flight possible.
• Action booking queues requested on flight whose shipments list has been released to Hub Operations in an effort to utilize last minute capacity and optimize overall revenue.
• Perform post-flight departure analysis to identify key area of improvements, propose, as well as implement corrective measures to mitigate irregularities.
• Constantly monitor and identify non-compliances in booking practices which can impact flown as planned percentage and highlight these to relevant stakeholders for corrective actions.
• Closely coordinate with relevant departments in order to improve capacity optimization through meticulous execution of intended route strategy.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 2 years of job-related experience.
• Strong knowledge in Cargo Air Cargo operations, Passenger & Freight aircraft types or limitations
• Specialization in Revenue Management (RM) or Flight Capacity Management is preferred
• Experience within the following Cargo departments (RM, Operations, Sales or Customer Service)
• Commercial sensibility and analytical mindset
