The Customer Order & Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for managing customer orders from receipt to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills to coordinate with internal teams and external customers effectively.Our Vandalia facility is located 50 minutes north of the GE Aerospace headquarters and sits just north of the city of Dayton—known widely as the birthplace of aviation—where the Wright Brothers built the world’s first aircraft in their bicycle shop in the heart of downtown Dayton. Role & Responsibilities
- Process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Monitor order status and proactively address delays or issues to meet delivery commitments.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure on-time delivery.
- Communicate order updates and resolve customer inquiries promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and customer interactions.
- Analyze order trends and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with lean principles and company goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field from accredited college/university (or High School Diploma/GED plus a minimum of 6 years of experience in business/finance/sourcing/supply chain roles)
Additional Information
- This role requires use of technical data subject to U.S. Government contract restrictions and this posting is only for U.S. Citizens. GE will require proof of status.
- Ability and willingness to sit onsite at the Vandalia, OH facility 5 days per week (no remote option)
