Job Description:

Location: Hybrid - 3 days at VHQ, Crawley

Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday

Contract Type: 12 months’ Fixed Term Contract / Secondment

Salary: Competitive

Closing Date: 5th February 2026

At Virgin Atlantic Airways, we believe that everyone can take on the world, and its our vision to become the most loved travel company. As we embark on this next exciting stage of our journey, we’re harnessing our spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation to challenge the status quo.

This is your opportunity to join our Digital Acquisition team — helping shape the future of how we attract and engage customers across the globe.

As a Digital Acquisition Specialist, you’ll lead the charge in driving new customer growth through paid media channels, including PPC, affiliates, and aggregators.
You’ll jointly manage a multi-million-pound budget, ensuring every click and conversion delivers against our digital-first ambition and long-term growth strategy.

You’ll plan, implement, and evaluate direct acquisition campaigns — optimising for performance, quality, and ROI — while collaborating across global regions to deliver best-in-class digital spaneting excellence.

  • Lead our direct response spaneting strategy across paid search, affiliates, aggregators, rewards, and online travel agents
  • Manage and optimise our partnerships with Skyscanner, Kayak, and other key performance platforms
  • Oversee paid media campaigns across UK, US, and Rest of World (ROW), ensuring alignment with commercial goals and maintaining target ROAS
  • Deliver localised, translated media plans tailored to regional spanets and customer behaviours
  • Drive collaboration with the Commercial and eCommerce teams to integrate insights into strategic decision-making
  • Lead the development and integration of our new attribution platform, leveraging insights to refine our media mix
  • Build and maintain a process for capturing and sharing competitor data and spanet intelligence
  • Champion best practice across regions, ensuring digital spaneting excellence is embedded globally
  • Own the traffic demand request process, including paid media.
  • Support customer journey mapping across all digital touchpoints, optimising from awareness to conversion

You’re curious, commercially aware, and excited by how performance spaneting drives growth. You’re motivated by data, enjoy problem-solving, and want to build hands-on experience across PPC and affiliate spaneting in a fast-moving, global business.

You’re keen to learn how campaigns are planned, launched, optimised, and scaled — and you’re excited by the idea of seeing the impact of your work in real time.

  • A degree (or equivalent experience) and a genuine interest in performance spaneting
  • Exposure to PPC or affiliate spaneting through internships, placements, university projects, or self-driven learning
  • An analytical mindset and confidence working with data and insights
  • Curiosity about how search, partners, and platforms work together to drive acquisition
  • An interest in campaign optimisation, testing, and continuous improvement
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to ask questions and share ideas
  • Energy, curiosity, and a desire to learn and grow

If you’re looking to start your career in performance spaneting, develop hands-on PPC and affiliate skills, and help shape how people discover and book travel with Virgin Atlantic, we’d love to hear from you.
