Job Description:

Main responsibilities

We are looking for an IT System Administrator to report directly to the Head of IT. The candidate will be responsible for the management, maintenance and optimisation of the company IT systems and will be the local contact person for the migration to the new company infrastructure.

In particular, the person will be responsible for:

• Design, configure and maintain the IT infrastructure, including networks, physical and virtualised servers;
• Ensuring the management and support of IT activities in close cooperation with the parent company, also following up on specific projects;
• Installing and configuring IT hardware and software equipment;
• Supporting users with hardware and software issues;
• Monitoring and ensuring performance optimisation of business systems and applications;
• Ensuring the management of all assets (e.g. PCs, smartphones, telephones, network equipment, etc.);
• Monitoring the evolution of technological trends;
• Supporting the Head of IT.

How to convince us

• 5 years of experience in the IT field as an IT System Administrator, preferably in the Microsoft environment;
• Experience with virtualisation systems, preferably VmWare;
• Advanced skills in managing networks, firewalls, VPNs and network protocols;
• English knowledge level B2 and Italian knowledge level B2;
• A degree in computer science/computer engineering is considered a plus.

Ability to manage projects, excellent organisational skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as an aptitude for problem solving and a propensity for continuous professional development complete the profile.
