As an IT Tech Specialist here at Honeywell, you will beresponsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services toensure the smooth operation of our IT systems specific to Comm Nav Software.Your expertise in IT hardware and software will be crucial in resolvingtechnical issues and maintaining the efficiency of our technologyinfrastructure. You will report directly to our Senior Software EngineeringManager, and youll work out of our MN17 location on a hybrid work schedule. Inthis role, you will have a direct impact on the productivity and effectivenessof our organization by ensuring that our IT systems are running smoothly andefficiently. Your technical skills and problem-solving abilities will beinstrumental in resolving technical issues and providing excellent customersupport.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware(legacy and next gen) and software issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems andsoftware.
• Submit IT tickets and be the POC for coordinating ITtickets with the global IT/CMADS team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complextechnical issues.
• Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems and data.
• Document and maintain IT procedures and processes.
• Other relevant tasks as assigned by the manager.
The annual base salary range for this position is $72,000--$80,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. YOU MUST HAVE
• 3+ years of experience in IT technical support or arelated role.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of IT hardware andsoftware.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities and a High school DImploma
WE VALUE
• Experience with DevOps toolchains and working knowledge ofCI/CD tools such as Bamboo/Docker/Jenkinsetc.
• Tool scripting experience in python, bash etc.
• Experience with multiple Operating Systems such asWindows, Linux.
• Certifications in relevant IT technologies.
• Experience in providing customer support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
