Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Experienced Mail Services Specialist to join our team in Chantilly, VA, supporting mission critical government programs.
The Mail Services Specialist will be working with a multi-disciplinary team that quickly and effectively supports the facilities and construction needs for a U.S. Government customer.
Position Responsibilities:
- Receives, sorts, files, and delivers U.S., express, inter- and intra-company mail including certified, registered, and classified mail
- Provides guidance and information to customers, assisting them with material input
- Prepares, posts and sorts, by destination code, outgoing mail ensuring compliance with all postal and export regulations
- Prepares packages and documents for shipment of classified mail
- Interfaces with all internal and external customers and vendors to ensure reliability and compliance with all government and company regulations and policies
- With general supervision, inspects all incoming packages to discover potentially dangerous materials in accordance with applicable standards
- Notifies Security if suspicious package is observed
- Assists in training less experienced mail specialists
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Adjudicated Counterintelligence or Full Scope Polygraph
- 1+ year of customer service experience
- Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 35lbs on a frequent basis
- Valid drivers license
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with transportation and logistics services
- Experience operating Material Handling Equipment such as forklifts and electric pallet jacks
- Experience working in a mailroom

Summary pay range: $43,350 - $62,000
