WE’RE LOOKING FOR A
PRICING & MANUFACTURING (CONTROLLING) BUSINESS ANALYST
POSITION LOCATION: FORT ERIE, ONTARIO
The Pricing & Manufacturing Business Analyst manages pricing strategies for all Airbus Helicopters Canada Limited (AHCA) offerings, monitoring departmental gross margins to ensure alignment with Airbus Helicopters&39; global standards and AHCA’s business plans. Month-end responsibilities involve calculating hourly rates, determining the cost base, and producing critical financial analyses.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitoring costs and pricing in the manufacturing department
Develop standard practices used for pricing of intercompany manufacturing parts.
Participate in the calculation of costing rates, departmental gross margin targets, burden rates, and other internal factors to monitor costs.
Track and analyze production costs (labor, material, and overhead).
Lead/facilitate collaboration between Finance, Programs and Customer Support to determine annual selling rates with updated rules.
Works with production planning to ensure bills of material are up to date.
Prepare monthly variance reports to monitor manufacturing costs and rates.
Updating costs for purchased parts.
Inventory Control
Pricing of all Airbus Helicopters Canada Limited Options and Spares
Receive file from AH of current year’s spares pricing and convert for internal use (currency conversion required).
Compile an upload file to have current years’ pricing updated in ERP for sales.
Collaborate daily with Global Supply Chain and Customer Service Representatives to establish selling prices for new intercompany spare parts.
Lead the costing and pricing process for research & development options, securing necessary approvals from the Program and Finance departments.
Monitor and analyze competitor pricing for similar products and services to ensure AHCA remains strategically positioned in the market.
Pricing of Repair & Overhaul, Blade Repairs and After Sales Maintenance of Airbus Helicopter Canada Limited services
Apply current-year costing rates and gross margin targets to all blade repair operations, ensuring service pricing reflects internal financial objectives.
Facilitate cross-functional reviews with Finance, Programs, and Customer Support to establish and finalize annual selling prices for R&O services.
Maintain and distribute the AHCA Repair and Overhaul Guidelines to the Commercial Office, ensuring all stakeholders use the most current pricing standards.
Discuss pricing anomalies with the commercial office.
Participating with month end closing and variance analysis
Deliver monthly variance reports to stakeholders and budget holders, providing the financial clarity necessary for informed, data-driven decision-making.
Execute analytical functions, including gross margin evaluation, business case development for new program introductions, and ROI assessments for fixed asset acquisitions.
Collaborate closely with departmental leads to identify cost drivers and implement corrective actions based on month-end performance metrics.

Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
Working knowledge of short and long term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis.
Ability to work with teams to produce quality materials within tight time frames and simultaneously manage several problems.
Participate and facilitate group meetings.
Strong leadership skills.
Able to take initiative.
Excellent organizational skills; able to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of spreadsheets.
Attention to detail.
Technical Systems Proficiency
ERP Systems (SAP preferred).
Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Gmail, etc.).
Microsoft Excel.
