Summary of AccountabilitiesResponsible for coordinating parts, services, and supporting activities for the functional operation of the propeller shop.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Perform component inductions for propellers arriving for repair &
- Order propeller parts from suppliers for shop floor and
- Receive, deliver and stock parts that arrive from suppliers. Log and file all airworthiness paperwork associated with parts.
- Pick and deliver parts from stock room to shop
- Maintain schedule for checking and ordering replenishment consumables, chemicals, adhesives, paints, and lubricants for the shop.
- Remove expiring consumables from shop floor and replenish prior to
- Perform work order close out and customer invoicing once prop overhauls are
- Creating purchase orders for outside services for
- Maintain and update prop master schedule
- Maintain schedule for tool calibrations, coordination of calibration services when
- Maintain and update inventory stock min/max levels for propeller shop stock
- Print out/ physically replace manuals when revisions are
- File claims with suppliers for parts and propellers under
- Schedule freight shipping for outbound propeller
- Manage credit card for prop/parts.
- Coordinate/book travel for management trips/tech
- Drive forklift to assist loading and unloading propellers
Education and ExperienceHS Diploma/GED required, Some higher-level education preferred, previous aviation experience preferred
Physical Requirements- Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
- Occasional periods of walking, sitting, rotation, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
- Occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs, and frequently lifting up to 10 lbs.
