PositionOverview:
ProductOperations is responsible for the development and commercialization of anoffering portfolio by improving execution and governance of strategy andprocess. The Product Operations team works closely with Offering Managers andcross-functional departments, such as engineering/R&D,manufacturing/sourcing or software development, internal sales and field sales,marketing, as well as Honeywell senior executives to maximize the growth,development and return on investment of the organizations product portfoliotoday and in the future.

The Senior Product Operations Specialist is a key role responsible foroptimizing and managing the operational aspects of product management. Thissenior-level position involves overseeing product lifecycle processes, ensuringefficient processes within Offering Management and New Product Development, andimplementing strategies to enhance product performance and operationalefficiency. The role requires a deep understanding of product operations, offeringmanagement, product management, process optimization, and cross-functionalcollaboration.

Location: Rosemont, IL or Charlotte, NC

Work Schedule: 3/2 hybrid after first90-days with Honeywell

• Strong operational and project management skills, with experience in managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

KeyResponsibilities:

ProcessOptimization: Develop and implement strategies to optimize product operations and streamlineprocesses. Identify opportunities for improvement and lead initiatives toenhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Cross-FunctionalCollaboration: Workclosely with R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and marketing teams toensure seamless coordination and execution of product-related activities.Facilitate communication and resolve any operational issues.

PerformanceMonitoring: Trackand analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product operations.Prepare and present reports on operational performance, trends, and areas forimprovement.

ProductLifecycle Management: Oversee product lifecycle stages, including product introduction, ramp-up, andphase-out. Ensure that product transitions are managed effectively and thatoperational impacts are minimized.

SupplyChain Coordination: Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to manage productavailability, inventory levels, and distribution. Address any supply chainissues and implement solutions to maintain product availability.

Documentationand Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to product operationsand businesses processes. Prepare and present detailed reports on operationalperformance, process improvements, and strategic recommendations.

Customerand Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and addressoperational concerns. Use feedback to drive improvements and enhance customersatisfaction.

Training:  Design, implement, and support Training Programs for the Offeringmanagement team including Accelerator modules, Z21 processes, and Learning Hub.

The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.  

The annual base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. • 5-7 years of experience in product operations, supply chain management, or a related role, with a proven track record of managing complex product operations and process optimization.
