We are seeking experienced Aircraft Engine Technicians to support maintenance on F-16 engines (PW F100-220E) in Mesa, AZ. This role is critical to ensuring engines remain airworthy, reliable, and mission-ready in a fast-paced operational environment.
Position Summary
The Engine Technician II performs maintenance, repair, inspection, and troubleshooting of jet engines, applying advanced technical knowledge to ensure operational readiness and compliance with all maintenance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, modification, and inspection of PW F100-220E jet engines
- Troubleshoot and diagnose engine system failures using technical orders and manuals
- Execute both line and heavy maintenance activities
- Perform engine disassembly, repair, rebuild, and reassembly
- Complete and certify engine work packages and historical documentation
- Ensure all replacement parts are inspected, certified, and compliant
- Tag and route removed components appropriately (repair, overhaul, scrap)
- Prioritize workload to meet operational deadlines
- Provide technical guidance and OJT support to team members
- Maintain compliance with safety, OSHA, and company procedures
Basic Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 7+ years of direct engine maintenance experience
- Experience working on PW F100-220E (or similar military jet engines)
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic experience
Preferred Qualifications
- USAF 5-Level (or equivalent) with documented progression
- FAA A&P License (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Experience in fighter aircraft engine maintenance environments
- Knowledge of HAZMAT handling and disposal

Work Environment & Conditions
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Domestic and international travel may be required
- Work performed in hangar, flight line, and outdoor environments
- Exposure to loud noise, moving equipment, and hazardous materials
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
Security Requirements
- Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
- Must be eligible for and maintain a security clearance
