Job Title: Avionics Technician
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Avionics Technician skilled in avionic tasks such as cable lay-ins, terminations, crimping, pinning, and soldering. The ideal candidate will be adept at assembling, modifying, and installing wire bundles, conductors, and other electrical components. They must be able to document work clearly, control equipment status tags, log critical information during installation, and verify parts requests. The ability to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals is essential.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, modify, and install wire bundles, conductors, and other electrical components.
- Document work performed, control equipment status tags, and log critical information during installation.
- Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and written instructions.
- Use a variety of manual hand tools such as crimpers, strippers, wire cutters, heat shrink guns, and complex, specialized aircraft test equipment.
- Effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, with other employees and supervisors.
- Perform duties on all shifts without encumbrances due to weather or physical location and conditions, while wearing required safety equipment.
Essential Skills- Avionic troubleshooting and functional testing.
- Experience with aircraft avionics systems and wiring.
- Proficiency in soldering and coaxial cable work.
- Ability to troubleshoot avionics systems on multiple aircraft models including CH-47, VC-22, MV-22, UH-60, Apache, and others.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 4+ years of electrical/avionic aviation production experience preferred.
- Military experience is considered a plus.
- Knowledge of rotary or fixed-wing aircraft.
- General knowledge of aviation electrical/avionic components and systems.

Work Environment
The position operates within a final assembly helicopter line or flight line. No personal tools are required for the role. Opportunities are available on both 1st and 2nd shifts.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
