BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 1+ years of experience working in an electronics manufacturing environment
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Knowledge on microelectronics quality requirements, including die shear, wire pull, bond shear, etc. per MIL-STD-883 or JEDEC JESD22-B116
- Experience with microelectronics equipment, such as die bonder, wire bonder, plasma cleaner, pull/shear tester, automated optical inspection (AOI), optical microscope, laser marker etc.
- Experience autonomously setting up and running tests and experiments
- Maintaining rigorous attention to detail with outstanding work efficiency
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and drive to succeed.
- Strong organizational skills to keep work area tidy and organize workflow
- Creative approach to problem solving, with willingness to learn and try new things
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to work all required shift hours, overtime, and weekends as needed. Estimated shift time; 1st Shift: 5AM - 3PM
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds unassisted
- Able to wear appropriate PPE for cleanroom environment
- Repetitive assembly operations, grasping, standing, lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Pay range:
Microelectronics Technician /Level 1: $25.00 - $33.00/hour
Microelectronics Technician /Level 2: $30.00 - $39.00/hour
Microelectronics Technician /Level 3: $35.00 - $45.00/hour
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
