Description:You will be the Quality Engineer for the Lockheed Martin team. Our team is responsible for developing and implementing quality standards, methods, and procedures to ensure the highest quality of manufactured and procured products.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for leading quality initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading program corrective action meetings and analyzing quality data to identify trends and resolve process issues
• Conducting assessments and audits to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards
• Collaborating with customers, suppliers, and program personnel to resolve quality-related issues
• Utilizing lean initiatives to reduce waste and improve production velocity and quality

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
-STEM degree at the Bachelor level or above
-The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
-Manufacturing or Quality experience developing methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products
-Able to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test and inspection methods and able to translate into work instructions and / or PO notes.
-Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical / process issues varying from basic to very complex.
-Experience in disposition of non-conforming products
-Knowledge of Geometric Dimension and Tolerance
-Knowledge of Configuration and Data Management
-Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
-Demonstrated presentation skills
Desired Skills:
-Lean / Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt / Black Belt)
-Experience working with various manufacturing sites in a dynamic/virtual environment
-ASQ Certification: Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)
-SAP Application experience
-Experience with performing First Article Inspections to AS9102 requirements
-Strong understanding of AS9100 and ISO9001 Quality Management Systems
-Effective communication skills, i.e., written, oral, listening and technical writing
-Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration
-Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
