Airbus Atlantic Portugal is currently recruiting for its site in Santo Tirso - Porto.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the role of HO Manufacturing Engineering consists of:
● Be responsible for the assembly process of the elements produced in the factory, as such will have a close connection with the Design, Production and Quality office;
● Manage the factory&39;s technical and tools Manufacturing & Engineering/Preparation team;
● Manage and control department costs
● Ensure the maintenance and development of technical sheets in accordance with design developments;
● Achieve process improvement goals in terms of OQD, OTD, OCD.
You will work in a company in full expansion with the various sectors responsible for the production of components for the Airbus front fuselage.
Main Functions:
● You will be responsible for ensuring that the department&39;s annual objectives are met.
● You will be responsible for ensuring the consistency of the manufacturing/assembly ranges under your responsibility, the maintenance of all &34;preparation&34; products for which you are responsible and the timely consideration of all design changes.
● You will provide your technical knowledge as the person in charge of the process and will bring dynamism to the handling of matters in order to respond more and more effectively to needs.
Main Tasks:
● Define performance indicators for monitoring the validation of the process; ● Ensure the follow-up and implementation in the production of changes and developments in the process;
● Ensure the development of the Manuf/Eng department in terms of staff and budget;
● Define, quantify and implement the optimization of industrial processes (cost/quality/time);
● Establish adequate follow-up to ensure that financial and industrial commitments are respected;
● Propose industrial guidelines taking into account the Strategy developed by the Airbus Atlantic Group;
● Contribute to the preparation of the budget for your department. Define material and immaterial needs to achieve the goals;
● Create and guarantee an effective and efficient industrial organization, based on an approach by objectives.
Profile, Experience and Skills required:
With a background in Engineering and experience in management in an industrial environment, you will be able to adapt to a production environment and integrate into a multi-purpose team.
● Successful experience in an industrial environment;
● Demonstrated leadership ability in a production context (managers, workers, technicians) in accordance with the Leadership model and Airbus Atlantic values: relational, personal and operational agility, including with regard to support functions;
● Very good interpersonal skills, listening and empathy skills;
● Ability to manage conflicts;
● Autonomy, organization, rigor, reactivity and pragmatism;
● Ability and dynamism to propose suggestions for improvement, creativity; ● Ability to negotiate, manage and organize;
● Global and technical vision, decision-making ability;
● Ability to deal with unforeseen and/or crisis situations;
● Knowledge of tools and methods for risk analysis and process validation; ● Computer skills: Pack Office, SAP, CATIA, GILDA.
Languages: Fluent in Portuguese and advanced level of English is essential. French is a plus.
