Join our Carbon/Carbon Composites team and contribute your expertise and knowledge to solving challenging problems in the aerospace industry. As part of our team, you will work on technical projects, finding innovative and cost-effective ways to improve techniques, procedures, products, and technologies. Your role will involve developing, conducting, and evaluating new approaches to meet project objectives efficiently, as well as commercializing products and technologies.

 

We are currently seeking a CMC Coatings Engineer who will be responsible for driving, proposing, managing, and executing projects, while effectively communicating results. Additionally, you will support the development of new technologies and their transition into commercial applications. Join us as we expand into new and exciting industries and build our team.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

 

 

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
  • 1+ year of prior experience in chemical processing, carbon/graphite synthesis, ceramic synthesis, thin films, or coatings.

 

WE VALUE

  • Experience with ultra-high temperature materials, carbon-carbon composite or other CMC materials and processing.
  • Significant experience in material science and analytical tool and techniques.
  • Experience with new product and technology development in a highly regulated environment.
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex and challenging problems.
  • Creativity in proposing ideas and executing those proposals.
  • Degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or Chemistry with emphasis in inorganic or solid-state chemistry.
