The Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) Design Build Flight Test Instrumentation organization is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to support multiple platforms for Flight Test to join our team in Berkeley, MO.
In this team, a design engineer has the primary responsibility for the synthesis of requirements, creation of engineering definition with electrical schematics and drawings that define the electrical hardware required to install a flight test data system. Flight test sometimes interfaces with the production wiring and is located throughout the aircraft giving an employee a chance to get familiar with different areas of the platform. Design Build designers work the entire design cycle including support of requirement definition, layouts, coordination with mechanical designers, preliminary design review, engineering release, coordination with manufacturing engineers and suppliers, occasional shipside support, and change incorporation.
BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Experienced level Electrical Design Engineers.
Position Responsibilities Include:
- Assist with the development and documentation of electronic and electrical system requirements
- Develop or modify basic hardware and software designs based on defined requirements
- Perform system tests to verify operational and functional requirements
- Assist in monitoring suppliers performance to ensure compliance with requirements
- Support resolution of product integration issues and production anomalies
- Research basic technologies for potential application to company business needs
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 1+ years of experience in electrical systems design and analysis
- Experience with and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as spanet and business considerations.
Summary pay range for associate level: $79,900 – $108,100
Summary pay range for experienced level: $96,050 - $129,950
