These include sophisticated software-defined radios and data links intended for use in ground, airborne, and space applications.

As part of a dynamic and collaborative engineering team, you will contribute across the full product development lifecycle—from concept and architecture through design, integration, and qualification. Whether you’re just starting your career or bringing deep technical expertise, you will have the opportunity to shape and support some of the most advanced communication technologies in the aerospace and defense industry.

This position will be at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.

This role is categorized as hybrid, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager.

What YOU will do:

Depending on experience level and skillset, responsibilities may include:

  • Collaborate with Systems, Mechanical, and Software Engineers to ensure successful integration and verification.
  • Interpret and decompose high-level system requirements into actionable electrical design tasks.
  • Support technical documentation, including requirements traceability, analysis reports, and test procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace design and test standards (e.g., DO-160, MIL-STD-461, DO-254).
  • Present technical work to internal stakeholders, customers, and certification authorities.

PCB Design:

  • Design, analyze, and validate complex printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), including high-speed digital, analog, radio frequency (RF) and power supplies.
  • Perform circuit simulations and analysis (timing, signal integrity, power, thermal) using tools like PSpice, or equivalent.
  • Create and manage schematics, schematic constraints, layout guidelines, stack-up definitions, and BOMs while collaborating with PCB drafting engineers and manufacturing.

Controls:

  • Apply control theory and system modeling to develop hardware solutions for closed-loop control systems.
  • Conduct Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) simulations for real-time control validation.

STE

  • Design and develop test equipment, including test racks, custom harnesses, and cabling to support functional, environmental, and qualification testing.

What YOU will learn:

  • You will learn about our growing engineering team in Puerto Rico; What we do? Who do we support? How do we work?
  • You will learn the technologies of today and tomorrow which we count on to maintain world leadership in the aerospace industry.
  • You will learn why people enjoy themselves and feel fulfilled by working in our industry.

Qualifications YOU must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with Electronics or Controls Engineering focus, or related field
  • Proven knowledge and experience in circuit design, analysis and results understanding and presentation.
  • Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Entry Level Engineers

  • Internship or academic project experience in circuit design, modeling, or test development

Mid-Level Engineers

  • 2+ years of experience in electrical hardware development (PCB), control system modeling or test equipment systems.

Senior/Principal Level Engineers

  • 5+ years of experience in mid to high complexity PCB product design
