 HoneywellSensing Solutions is a business unit within Honeywell International Inc. thatfocuses on the design and development of advanced sensors and sensingtechnologies for a wide range of applications. Honeywell Sensing Solutionsoffers a diverse array of products, including high precision aircraft position sensors, temperaturesensors, pressure sensors, flow sensors, and other sensing, switching, test& measurement technologies. Our technologies are designed to meet the diverseneeds of industries such as aerospace, automotive, industrial automation,electric vehicles, and commercial settings.

As an Electrical Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in thedevelopment of high precision electro-mechanical aerospace sensor technologies and related products within HoneywellSensing Solutions. In thisrole, you will impact the performance, reliability, and functionality of ouraerospace position sensors and the next generation of associated products. Your expertise inelectrical engineering will help us deliver high-quality, innovative, andtechnologically advanced solutions

Key Responsibilities
  • As an Electrical Engineer, you will provide technical engineering expertise and guidance to ensure the successful production and quality of electrical systems and critical components for complex, high precision electro-mechanical aerospace sensors
  • Support electro-mechanical device mfg. process development (i.e. Flux Valves, Synchros, RVDTs, LVDTs).
  • Drive technical solutions, idea generation and detailed drawing interpretation.
  • Test, troubleshoot andvalidate electrical systems and components
  • Workwith cross-functional teams to implement electrical engineering strategies andbest practices in manufacturing operations 
  • Maintain and develop work instructions and assembly fixtures.
  • Perform failure analysis and Root Cause Corrective Actions
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • 4-5+ yearsof experience in electrical engineering, hardware, and related
    • At the Engineer II level, 2+ years of related experience 
WE VALUE
  • Strongknowledge of Electrical engineering strategies and best practices
  • Experiencein the aerospace industry is of value but not required
  • Experience with advanced electrical & magnetic engineering theories and methodologies
  • Experience with oscilloscopes, Digital Multi Meters and power supplies.
  • Software programming and digital signal processing knowledge.
  • Capability to apply broad knowledge of one professional discipline or advanced knowledge of specific technical/operational practices
  • Proven track record of successfully assisting the development and manufacturing process of complex electrical components
