We are experiencing growth and looking for an engineer with design, integration and test, and evaluation experience in the areas of high power electromagnetics, analog circuits, pulsed power, and prime power systems to join our team in beautiful Dallas, TX!!

This candidate will be assigned to the Applied Research Directorate.

What You Will Be Doing

The engineer will have the opportunity to work on prime power, pulsed power, and high power electromagnetic systems and subsystems.

The candidate will be engaged with other pulsed power and high power electromagnetic engineers, integration and test engineers, and mechanical packaging engineers.

The candidate should be comfortable working in a multidisciplinary environment and engage with experts in various fields.

The candidate will need to be able to acquire SECRET level clearances and be a U.S. Citizen.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in an Engineering or Science field such as Electrical or Physics, or other STEM field.

• General understanding of practical electromagnetics theory

• Experience with pulsed power or prime power circuits and systems

• Experience with Matlab or similar tools

• Experience in data analysis, reduction, presentation

• Experience with Test Instrumentation (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, etc)

• Ability to be proactive and work with little supervision

• Ability to solve loosely defined and inherently unstructured problems

• Ability to work with geographically spread out teams

• Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance, therefore you must be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
• Master’s Degree or higher in an engineering or science field

• Proficient in Modeling and Simulation of analog circuits

• Proficient in Electromagnetics Theory

• Experience with Rapid Prototyping and System Integration

• Proficient in Pulsed Power circuits

• Proficient in Prime Power circuits
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
