The Industrial Engineer – Machining is responsible for developing and optimizing machining processes, leading First Article Inspections (FAIs), and solving technical issues in the industrialization phase. The role ensures manufacturing readiness and process stability for machined parts by defining technical requirements, driving process control, and supporting quality compliance.2.0Authority อำนาจหน้าที่Reports to the Industrialization or Manufacturing Engineering Manager, working closely with Quality, Tooling, Production, and Project Engineering teams. .3.0Detailed department related duties รายละเอียดหน้าที่โดยละเอียด3.1 Process Development (Primary)•Specify gauges and fixture required for process execution (but not create CAM programs).•Review process risks and validate manufacturability through technical reviews and dry runs.3.2 First Article Inspection (FAI) & Documentation (Primary)•Coordinate FAI preparation in accordance with AS9102 or customer-specific requirements.•Generate ballooned drawings, inspection plans, and support dimensional report generation.•Work with Quality to ensure measurement methods and tolerances are clearly defined and compliant.•Address technical discrepancies during FAI and support closure through formal RCCA.3.3 Problem Solving & Quality Support (Primary)•Analyze machining-related non-conformances and process deviations using structured problem-solving tools.•Lead or support root cause investigations (e.g., dimensional issues, surface finish problems, tool-related anomalies).•Drive corrective and preventive actions, and ensure lessons learned are embedded in documentation.3.4 Engineering Documentation & Control (Primary)•Maintain and control technical documents such as operation sheets, tool lists, and work instructions.•Ensure updates to routing or process documentation are version-controlled and stored per engineering data procedures.•Collaborate with CAM and tooling engineers to align documentation with shop floor execution.3.5 Tooling & Equipment Support (Primary)•Support specification and technical validation of tools, fixtures, and gauges.•Participate in process validation or readiness assessments for new machines or equipment.•Provide input on capability requirements during sourcing or upgrades of machining technology.3.6 Continuous Improvement (Primary)•Identify opportunities to improve material utilization, tool life, cycle times, and process stability.•Participate in lean initiatives, RCCA workshops, or Kaizen events related to machining.4.0 Production Support (Secondary)•Create and maintain BOMs, routing structures, and technical documentation in ERP systems for specific cases •Support production team in resolving escalated machining issues or deviations.•Review actual vs. planned routings post-order and propose corrections where needed.•Support nonconformance (NCR) documentation and concession justification
Job Requirements:

4.1Completed education of not below bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineer, Industrial Engineering or related field 4.21-2 years of metal manufacturing process as a minimum.4.3Team player with strong written and oral communication skills 4.4Good knowledge of milling process with CNC machines and/or manufacturing sheet metal parts (folding, welding, chemical treatment, assembly).4.5Having basic knowledge of SOLID WORKS and/or AUTOCAD.4.6Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and their implementation is an advantage.4.7Good command of both spoken and written English.4.8Respect teamwork
