The Lead Employee HRM Services Engineering - CFM will provide HR support for employees, managers, and leaders within the Aerospace Commercial Engineering organization, helping to resolve organizational and employee related problems, and serve as a partner, coach and functional HR expert. As a member of the Aerospace Technology and Operations HR team, the HR Manager will also collaborate with the broader HR team to plan and execute talent strategies, org designs and a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that our talent with GE Aerospace remains strong and provides value to our customers.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated guidance, coaching, and business partnership to managers and employees, approximately 350 total, spanning across 15 Executives on the Commercial Engineering team.
- Build relationships with the employee population and be the point of contact for questions on fundamental HR topics and issues, escalate concerns when appropriate, and connect employees and people leaders to HR COE Services
- Advise, council, and coach through close partnership enabling manager capabilities, advocating for employees, facilitating accurate talent assessment, growth and development, improving performance and effectiveness, ensuring fair and compliant compensation planning
- Engage with a variety of cross-disciplinary teams to proactively shape the employee value proposition and culture of the organization, leveraging the engagement survey results where appropriate
- Assist with talent acquisition strategies, employee retention, and workplace investigations
- Utilizes in-depth knowledge of HR discipline, analytical thinking, and clear communication to lead and execute HR related projects
- Uses strong ability to prioritize work and analyze data in order to deliver the right results
Qualifications/ Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of five years of experience in Human Resources
- Must be willing to work a hybrid schedule, which means being on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, as well as additional days when on-site support is needed
