The BGS Apache Spares Engineering team is seeking a highly motivated and technical Senior Spares Manufacturing Engineer to support our efforts to sustain the global fleet, capture new customers and improve our services for AH-64 Apache and AH-6 product lines in Mesa, Arizona.
The selected candidate will demonstrate the Boeing Behaviors and First-Time Quality while contributing to the delivery of Spares Engineering services needed for orders, quotes and proposals. He/she will coach and mentor junior engineers and collaborate with teammates across multiple disciplines and functions in our effort to sustain AH-64 and AH-6 products around the globe. The selected candidate will respond to requests, assemble technical data packages, submit recommendations and collaborate with cross-functional and diverse teams to determine the producibility of spare parts.
Position Responsibilities:
- Review drawings, specifications, models, tooling, program and customer requirements to ensure the right configuration of spare parts can be procured and delivered on time
- Develop manufacturing planning
- Incorporate Engineering Change Orders
- Resolve complex technical problems and supplier constraints
- Coordinate and collaborate to quality and schedule
- Lead technical projects, corrective actions and process improvements
- Respond to transactional quotes & orders and contract proposals
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 7+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing operations and/or manufacturing support
- 7+ years of experience working with and/or interpreting engineering data or engineering drawings
- Experience with Acquisitions, Supplier Constraints, Quotes and Orders
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 8+ years’ experience working in Rotary Wing Aviation
- 8+ years’ experience working in AH-64 Apache
- 8+ years’ experience related to US Army contracts
- 8+ years’ experience using Manufacturing Execution System (MES), MS2, CTMA and Haystack

Summary Pay Range: $109,650 - $148,350
