Summary:
Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with experience in Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) and Plated Through Hole (PTH) processes.
Designing and optimizing manufacturing processes, production layouts, and equipment setups to ensure efficient, high-quality production.
Design manufacturing processes, layouts, and sequences for equipment installation, machining, and material handling.
Optimize machine and equipment placement for efficiency within plant facilities.
Specify procedures for tool and equipment fabrication, ensuring performance and compliance with regulations.
Adapt equipment designs to suit production needs and incorporate inspection/test requirements into production plans.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions to maintain product quality.
Support engineering teams with design and specification guidance.
Apply and potentially develop statistical process control techniques.
Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, including Lean Manufacturing principles.
Requirements:
1+ year of experience in manufacturing engineering focused on Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) and Plated Through Hole (PTH) processes
Experience with conformal coating spray processes
Proficient in component prep, wave solder, select solder, and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI)
Familiar with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 specifications
Lean Manufacturing experience preferred
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR)
