Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Quality Engineer to join the E-7A Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) Ecosystem Quality Assurance group located in Oklahoma City, OK!
This position is for a Quality Engineer and will be part of the E-7A Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) Ecosystem Quality Assurance Team who will reside at the Oklahoma City Site campus supporting USAF and International Customers.
Domestic and International travel may be required up to 10 of the time.
The ideal candidate for this role will be proficient with Quality Processes, Project Management, and have the ability to work in a teaming environment, along with understanding the importance of Open & Honest Communication. Trust and Accountability are a must.
Leads Quality reviews of proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements to develop quality assurance strategies, plans and tests for hardware and software products, processes and services ensuring early quality involvement in program development.
Develop Quality budgets and cost estimates based on Statements of Work (SOW) assigned.
Develop and implement processes for determining, verifying and meeting Customer SOW requirements.
May be required to perform inspections and coordinate with the customer in support of DD 250 / Certificate of Conformance Processing and nonconformance processing/management.
Assist in analyzing Earned Value Management data and in the development of Cost Variance Analysis Reports.
Participate in the maintenance of processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer and regulatory requirements are adhered to.
Lead stakeholders in the analysis process of unfavorable process data, customer complaints and metric results formulating mitigation plans utilizing the closed loop preventive / corrective action process.
Analyze non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Lead Corrective Action investigations on complex aircraft systems.
Represents Quality in design reviews. Reviews designs for manufacturability, producibility, testability and inspect ability.
Support aircraft modification locations conus and international with onsite support as required.
Participate in source selection and process capability assessments of suppliers to verify their ability to meet program quality requirements and support business decisions. Assist in the development of Quality criteria for supplier source selection. Works closely with Supplier Management and Supplier Quality to ensure requirements are flowed adequately.
Performs benchspaning and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.
Works under general direction.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

More than 1 year of experience working or inspecting to non-conformance work orders
