We offer an exciting opportunity to implement and maintain our Quality System and to ensure product and process quality/integrity meets appropriate regulatory/customer requirements.
Responsibilities
Principal accountabilities:
- Liaising with customer Quality representatives to interpret, and comply with, their requirements.
- Preparing Quality plans and procedures to meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Identifying, investigating and solving Quality-related problems and co-ordinating relevant corrective action teams.
- Reviewing non-conforming material.
- Conducting both internal and external Quality audits.
- Developing and supporting Quality initiatives such as issuance and control of approved personnel authorisations.
- Maintaining Afterspanet regulatory approvals.
- Supporting and co-ordinating delivery and conformity documentation.
- Developing inspection plans for measurement/calibration.
Qualifications
Candidate Requirements:
It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that sufficient detail is provided on the application form to demonstrate how the applicant meets essential job criteria, as this alone will be used for vetting purposes.
Essential
- Candidates must possess a Degree in an Engineering discipline and have a minimum of three years’ relevant experience within a Quality function.
OR
- Candidates must possess a minimum of a HNC in an Engineering discipline and have a minimum of five years’ relevant experience within a Quality function.
OR
- Candidates with lesser qualifications will be considered providing they have a minimum of seven years’ relevant experience within a Quality function.
AND
- Have a thorough knowledge of procurement, planning, tooling, processes, and manufacturing and assembly techniques. Knowledge of the following would also be advantageous:
- Regulatory body requirements and approval process.
- Engineering documentation and practices.
- AS 9100/ AS 9110
- Statistical process control and other Quality tools and techniques.
- Relevant Quality procedures.
- Aircraft conformity procedures.
Successful candidates may be required to travel on behalf of the company as part of this role.
