We are seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to join the Space team at Honeywell Czech Republic, working on mission‑critical systems for space and aerospace applications.
This role is attractive if you are looking for:
- Deep embedded software development on real space systems, not simulations or prototypes
- Technical ownership of software architecture in safety‑critical, mission‑driven environments
- Work on long‑term, high‑impact projects with real flight heritage
You will work on advanced electronic space systems with a strong focus on embedded and control software. Your responsibilities will include understanding system behavior at hardware–software level, defining robust software architecture based on mission requirements, and leading implementation activities across the development lifecycle. The role also involves translating customer and system requirements into software specifications, performing technical trade studies, and contributing to new concepts and technologies for future space products.
You will be part of active space and aerospace programs, collaborating with commercial space customers, Honeywell International, and the European Space Agency, within a technically strong R&D environment that values quality, reliability, and engineering excellence.
Please note that due to export restrictions, we will only be able to take into consideration applicants with an EU citizenship.
