Position Summary

A professional who is continually working in the improvement of the product, looking to improve performance, cost and quality with the safety standard that are being required.

To lead a multidisciplinary team for a success implementation of new products.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed product specifications that accurate communicated performance and customer requirements to production.
• Defines and coordinates validation test plans. Evaluates results for accuracy and precision. Ensures conformance to product specifications to achieve customer and product reliability and safety standards. 
• Apply Simple by Design methodology to reduce cost at the plant for the different products.
• Lead multidisciplinary team and be responsible for the successful implementation of product line transfer from different sites.
• Identify and executive for alternatives to improve the design and impact in the financial statement of the plant looking for better product cost, reduce scrap or reduce process cost.
• Provide cost information for new customer requirements

Qualifications

Qualifications

• 3+ year in a similar position or 3+ years in an engineering, quality or manufacturing position.
• Design engineering and analysis tools (CAD, Minitab, Excel)
• Core Tools experience.
• Fluent English.
• Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or similar.
