Description:You will be the Senior Quality Engineer for Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) at the Red River Army Depot in Hooks, TX. Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining quality evaluation and control systems, and were seeking a motivated and driven Senior Quality Engineer to join our team.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Senior Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, modifying, and maintaining quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for our products. You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place, and devise and implement methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of our products and production equipment.

Your responsibilities will include:

-Developing and maintaining quality evaluation and control systems and protocols
-Collaborating with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place
-Designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment
-Conducting quality assurance tests and performing statistical analysis to assess product quality and identify areas for improvement
-Identifying and addressing products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor degree from an accredited institution in a STEM discipline or equivalent experience/combined education.

-Must hold or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.

-Electrical, mechanical or quality engineering experience performing in-depth data mining, analyzing and actionable metrics creation.

-Developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products.

-Able to interpret drawings and specifications to determine product conformance as well as develop and apply quality test, inspection methods and work instructions.

-Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools.

-Experience in disposition of non-conforming products.

-Knowledge of Configuration and Data Management.

-SAP Application experience.

-Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

-Effective communication skills, written, oral, listening, technical writing.

-Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration.

-Demonstrated presentation skills.

-Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Desired Skills:
-STEM degree at bachelors level or higher preferred.

-Special Process Engineering experience.

-Experience with use of manufacturing, inspection gages or measuring equipment.

-Experience working with Government customers and suppliers.

-Thorough knowledge of Industry recognized Quality systems such as International (ISO), aerospace (AS), and FAA regulations.

-MS Excel subject matter expert.

-Experience with Tableau.

-Experience in establishing Performance Metrics for identifying process improvement.

-Demonstrated understanding of quality audit techniques

-Deep understanding of electrical / electro-mechanical component qualification testing to include CCBs.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
