Join our dynamic team as a cross-functional systems engineer, where youll play a vital role in empowering Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC) with cutting-edge training and expertise in RF, crypto, systems, and network devices. As a key member of our team, youll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by sharing your in-depth knowledge of tactical networks, antenna theory, radio wave propagation, and field expedient antenna system design. Youll work with advanced radio systems, including AN/PRC-160, AN/PRC-163, and AN/PRC-167, and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in C5I technologies. Your expertise in MANET waveforms, crypto devices, and system of system environments will be invaluable in driving our mission forward. You will also have the opportunity to identify and support new project start-ups that provide engineering services to our dynamic customer. Responsibilities will include:
* Designing and delivering comprehensive training programs for NSW communications systems
* Developing and maintaining training materials, including courseware, manuals, and simulation tools
* Conducting training sessions and providing expert instruction to NSW operators
* Evaluating operator proficiency and providing feedback to ensure mission readiness
* Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in NSW tactical communications, network and cyber/IT technologies and incorporating these into training programs
* Assist with the design and integration efforts of C5I technologies (e.g. radio, telecommunication, IT, and computer networks) across Navy ships, other maritime platforms, and transit case based systems
* Maintain strong relationships with key customers, teammates and vendors

Ideal candidate will have strong verbal communication skills and be comfortable speaking to a large audience and provide expert knowledge and training on a broad range of communications systems. They should have a spirit of continuous learning, incorporating the last technologies into design concepts and training courses. They will also have strong writing abilities to develop technical documentation and latest training course material.

This position is located in San Diego. There is no relocation assistance available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to San Diego or surrounding areas.

Job Requirements:

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree in technical discipline (engineering, computer science, or IT) and 4 years of experience with military and/or DoD communication systems (Additional experience may be substituted for the degree)
Prior military NSW or SOF C5I design and support experience
Prior training and/or curriculum developer experience
Ability to demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively communicate both orally and written at all levels within the company and within the customer community

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Master Training Specialist
Naval Special Warfare (NSW) / Special Operations Forces (SOF) communications experience at the planning and executions levels
Familiarity or experience with USSOCOM and its component combatant commands
Experience in IT communications, networks, and cyber security on SOF maritime or Afloat platforms
Strong skills in technical writing

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $97008 - $164914

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
