Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career ADP Software Engineer. This ADP Software Engineer will focus on developing and maintaining software systems that interface with RF, RADAR, and EW systems/sensors. The role involves writing efficient code to control instrumentation systems and analyze data collected during field trials of major weapon systems.

As a member of the technical team, you will collaborate on software development projects that support complex threat system testing operations, both at our home base (Fort Worth, TX) and in the field. You will work with modern software development technologies and frameworks to create robust applications for instrument control and data analysis. The position involves developing software solutions for test automation, data collection, and analysis, with opportunities to work with FPGA architecture and digital signal processing (DSP) applications.

You will write clean, maintainable code while following software development best practices and contributing to our continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline. The role includes developing and maintaining desktop and web applications for test control and data visualization. Youll work in an agile environment, participating in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions with the team and Customer Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
The selected candidate must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities, both written and verbal, as this position involves regular interaction with Customer personnel. You will participate in tracking and documenting software development progress and providing status updates to Customers and Program Management.
Candidates must be willing to travel periodically to remote locations to support Customer requirements. Must accept customer furnished quarters and comply with mobility requirements such as receiving applicable vaccinations.

Candidate must be able to obtain security clearance for consideration.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field

• Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles

• Programming experience in at least one modern programming language

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Desired Skills:
• Experience with C/.NET development (ASP.NET Core, Blazor, Entity Framework)

• Knowledge of web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)

• Familiarity with software testing and debugging tools

• Understanding of basic Digital Signal Processing (DSP) concepts

• Experience with MATLAB or similar scientific computing platforms

• Interest in RF/RADAR systems and signal processing

• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD practices

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
