Summary:
Develop, integrate, and document structural requirements for system design
Coordinate with engineering teams to define the product environment
Guide product design and verify structural integrity using analytical methods, finite element models, and simulations
Develop and execute test plans, analyze results, and ensure compliance with specifications
Define and document certification and test results for regulatory approval
Investigate failures in in-service products and recommend improvements
Work under general direction in a non-managerial, non-leadership role
Regular and predictable attendance required
Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry
Typically 5+ years of relevant experience
ABET accreditation preferred but not required
