Summary:
Lead development, integration, and documentation of structural requirements for system design
Coordinate with engineering teams to define the product environment
Guide product design and verify structural integrity using analytical methods, finite element models, and simulations
Develop test plans, support execution, and analyze results to ensure compliance with specifications
Define and document certification and test results for customers and regulatory agencies
Investigate failures in in-service products and analyze improvements
Enhance analytical tools and processes for efficiency and quality
Work under minimal direction in a non-managerial, non-leadership role
Regular and predictable attendance required
Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry
Typically 9+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent)
ABET accreditation preferred but not required
