Summary:
Plan and organize structural analysis to ensure compliance with integrity and stability requirements
Develop and document complex structural requirements for system design
Collaborate with engineering groups to establish the products environment
Guide product design and verify structural integrity using analytical methods, FEM simulations, and other analysis tools
Define and implement certification processes, review, and approve certification results
Develop test plans, support execution, and analyze results to verify systems meet requirements
Organize test programs to meet customer and regulatory requirements
Improve development effectiveness with new analytical processes/tools
Investigate emerging technologies for future product designs
Work under consultative direction in a non-managerial, non-leadership role
Regular and predictable attendance required
Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry
14+ years of related work experience (or equivalent)
Stress Liaison Support
Customer Support Experience
Hand Calculations & Aircraft Stress Analysis
Support NCRs
Desired Skills:
Primary Aircraft Structure & FEM Experience
Aerospace Experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Commercial/Military applications (737, 747, 757, 777)
ABET accreditation preferred but not required
