Summary:
Plan and organize structural analysis work at the program level to ensure compliance with structural integrity and stability requirements.
Develop, integrate, and document complex structural requirements for system design.
Coordinate with engineering teams to establish the products environment.
Guide product design and verify structural integrity using analytical methods, FEM models, and simulations throughout the product lifecycle.
Collaborate with customers and regulatory agencies to define certification processes and ensure requirements are met.
Review and approve certification results.
Develop test plans, support test execution, and analyze results to ensure systems and components meet requirements.
Define and organize test programs to validate and verify that customer and regulatory agency requirements are satisfied.
Develop analytical tools and processes to improve development effectiveness, quality, and efficiency.
Investigate emerging technologies to shape future product designs to meet projected requirements.
Work under consultative direction, in a non-managerial, non-leadership role with regular and predictable attendance.
Required Skills:
Typically acquired through a Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or related fields, with 14+ years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., PhD + 9 years, Masters + 12 years).

FEM experience
Aircraft stress/structural analysis
Integrated design and layout development
Desired Skills:
Primary Aircraft Structure experience
Aerospace experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with Commercial Derivatives (737, 747, 757, 777)
ABET accreditation is preferred.
