Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is seeking an experienced Tactical Radio Network Engineer to support and advise Product Manager Terrestrial Spectrum Warfare (PdM TSW) related to the integration of and operability with tactical radios and related networks to inform TSW products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assess transport layer gaps for systems within PdM TSW and support design of a network architecture to fill gaps.
- Configure lab and other representative networks to support experimentation and verification of transport layer network design.
- Assist in testing, supporting, and training transport layer networks integrated with PdM TSW systems.
- Conduct engineering research to stay informed on latest hardware and software developments impacting transport layer design of PdM TSW systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders from the Army acquisition community, developmental labs, HQDA, FORSCOM, AFC, TRADOX and various other organizations.
- Collaborate across multi-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving use cases, CONOPS, CONEMP, and TTPs.
- Develop presentations for support activities and/or higher headquarters to summarize results of actions against predetermined plans, current status or plans, progress, deficiencies, and outstanding accomplishments.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Experience with running and modifying simulations and performing analysis.
- Experience analyzing network/system designs, specifications, and related documents.
- Experience coordinating Communications and Networking requirements with multiple program offices and manage a multi-disciplinary stakeholder IPT.
- Ability to self-manage and pace responsibilities to ensure completion of all required activities in a timely manner.
- Strong MS Office Skills, including presentation and documentation development.
Clearance
Experience
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience working with DoD tactical radios and related networks
Education
- BS in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, physics or similar field.
- 5+ years experience can be substituted for formal education.
Preferred Requirements
Other Qualifications
- Minimum of 75 travel required to Army and contractor locations within CONUS.
- Ability to work in office/field/lab environments

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $140,000 to $170,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAGs total compensation package for employees.
