Position SummaryThis position is a regulatory position for CAMO as per CAAM Notice 6102 – Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAAM Part M Subpart G) – SME for Maintenance Reliability Programme
Key Accountabilities- Oversee and ensure that the companys Maintenance Reliability Program is running in accordance with CAAM requirements.
- Ensure that the Firefly Engineering Reliability Programme is updated and maintained in accordance with company policy and CAAM requirements.
- Manage and ensure data collection & control process is in place and efficient for the reliability monitoring programme.
- Review a draft Reliability Report from the Reliability Engineer before issuance.
- Explore and develop new processes for continuous improvement in the FY A/C Reliability Programme.
- Lead and conduct MRB meetings and coordinate the MRB item status.
- Responsible to monitor and ensure MRB items closure to be executed accordingly.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and OEM to address and resolve any technical issues as necessary.
- Maintain active oversight as regulated by CAAM for sub-contract activities for CAMO sub-contact functions.
- Participate in relevant CAAM audits and internal audits related to the reliability programme, ensuring comprehensive compliance and continuous improvement.
Qualification & Experience- Possess at least a Degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or related Engineering field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience
Areas of Experience - Aircraft Reliability Programme, Aircraft Maintenance Programmer, or CAMO related work area.
Personality Traits- Excellent knowledge of aircraft operations and maintenance systems and procedures.
- Excellent knowledge of aircraft Maintenance & Reliability Programme
- Good knowledge in applicable regulation sets by CAAM, EASA, FAA, and ICAO.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to conduct root cause analysis of aircraft technical problems/defects which may cause aircraft groundings and to initiate the remedial actions including the implementation of service bulletins and manufacturer/vendors recommendations.
