Airbus&39;s Cabin Industrial Design (BCD) department, specifically our advanced design team in Hamburg and Toulouse, is seeking a talented working student to join our dynamic and innovative team. We&39;re a creative think tank pushing the boundaries of cabin design, blending cutting-edge technology with a deep understanding of passenger needs. We collaborate across borders, drawing on diverse expertise from airline, x-industries, product design, and economics to deliver groundbreaking concepts.
Location: Hamburg
Start: as soon as possible
Duration: 12 months
You will receive a collectively agreed salary of at least 18.17 per hour, depending on the job. There are also special payments such as vacation pay.
Your location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.
Are you wondering how you actually get from university to Airbus? Your working student position is at the Finkenwerder plant and you can take the ferry from Teufelsbrück to the Airbus ferry terminal and back to the university in the morning and at noon. Alternatively, you can take the ferry to Finkenwerder and then ride your bike for about another 15 minutes to the main entrance.

Your tasks and responsibilities
You&39;ll be an integral part of our team, supporting strategic design projects focused on
AI-powered design and UX research. Your responsibilities will be diverse and challenging, including:
Support Cabin Design Strategy: Supporting in elaborating the strategic elements of new design concepts, including analysis of potential industrial impact, revenue generation, and associated effort. This may involve market research, cost-benefit analyses, and competitive benchmarking.
Project Management Support: Contributing to project planning, elaborating strategic elements on the industrial impact/ revenue and effort, tracking action items, aligning stakeholders, and preparing compelling presentations for steering committees and other key milestones.
Communication & Collaboration: Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels within the team and across departments.
Research & Analysis: Supporting research efforts related to AI-powered design and UX research initiatives.
Visualisation & Presentation: Creating clear, concise, and visually engaging presentations and documents
Desired skills and qualifications
Enrolled student in Economics, UX design or a related field.
Strong affinity for design and a keen interest in UX
Exceptional visualization skills, i.e. in Google Slides and Figma.
Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).
Proactive, self-motivated, and a team player.
Fluent in English. German or French is a plus.
