Raytheon Operation & Supply Chain (OSC) offers an excellent opportunity to join our energetic, and collaborative environment in support of the dynamic and growth-oriented Procurement department supporting all Raytheon programs.  In this role, you will foster relationship with suppliers, administer subcontracts in a fashion consistent with integrated supply chain models, recognizing the role and value of each participant through the acquisition life cycle from requirements generation through product delivery, product support, and payment for products and services. 

What You Will Do:

• Manage a high-volume desk in a fast paced environment while consistently meeting accuracy and performance metrics
• Prepare and issue RFPs and execute to the PR to PO lifecycle
• Perform price/cost analysis techniques and place Firm Fixed Price, Letter Subcontracts and cost type POs in accordance with FAR/DFARS
• Proactively manage suppliers to ensure on time delivery by obtaining accurate status, implement proper oversight and recovery efforts
• Develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, scope, Terms & Conditions)
• Work closely with the Program and other functional groups (Operations, Quality, Engineering, Program Management, etc.) to achieve objectives
• Travel as required (up to 30) and lead supplier onsite reviews

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
• Experience with FAR/DFAR
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required. https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Masters’ degree in supply chain, business, engineering or related field
• Experience working proactively with cross functional teams to resolve supplier issues and internal process challenges
• Experience managing a high volume procurement desk with POs over the TINA threshold
• SAP based environment experience
• Experience implementing/executing supplier recovery efforts and running supplier calls
• Experience with executing FFP and Cost Plus Fixed Fee contracts
• Familiarity with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

• Remote: This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
