The Purchasing Clerk is responsible for managing inventory of food products, frozen goods, packaging, and operational supplies to support airline catering operations. This role focuses on maintaining accurate stock levels, ensuring timely procurement, controlling costs, and upholding company standards while fostering strong vendor relationships.
Unlike traditional sourcing roles, this position is hands-on and floor-based. The Purchasing Clerk spends most of the day on the production floor overseeing inventory and frozen food management, with limited time at a desk.
