Our client in Georgetown, DE is seeking 9 skilled interior mechanics to work on a customer VIP interior project. Candidates will be responsible for installing and maintaining interiors on BBJ 737 aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to Interior Mechanics with a thorough understanding of aircraft interior component removals and installations.
• Perform upholstery, cabinetry, carpeting, finishes, and paint tasks.
• Conduct interior modifications, designs, conversions, and retrofits.
• Handle post-delivery modifications, including interiors, systems, and compliance upgrades.
• Repair, overhaul, modify, and retrofit structural components.
• Reconfigure interiors and upgrade soft goods such as bulkheads, dividers, ceilings, sidewalls, upholstery, and cabinetry.
• Modify seats, in-seat power, and premium seating configurations.
• Install and maintain entertainment systems, monitors, LED lighting systems, thermal and acoustic insulation packages, and perform painting tasks.

• 3-5 years of experience with VIP aircraft interiors, including corporate or helicopter interiors.
• Solid understanding of aircraft interior component removals and installations.
• Proficiency in using basic hand tools and equipment.
• Experience in interior removal, replacement, and modification.
• Possession of minimum required tools.
• Ability to perform other functions and duties as assigned.
• Willingness to work any shift and perform overtime as requested.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience with sheet metal, structural assembly, tooling, aerospace, aviation, drilling, fuel cells, and corporate jets.
• Skills in cabinetry, carpet installation, finishes, paint, component removal, installation, and blueprint reading.

Work on high-profile projects such as the Indianapolis Colts Corporate 737 Jet. Enjoy potential for 8-16 hours of overtime weekly and per diem benefits.

Work Environment

Work will be conducted in a hangar and in-aircraft at the Georgetown site.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41.22 - $41.22/hr.
