Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Logistics Support Representative (LSR) to support our business in Fort Greely, Alaska.
This position supports the Logistics Services team of the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program. You are applying for a Field Operations position where our employees must be willing and able (potentially short notice) to travel to a variety of locations (domestic and/or international) to meet the needs of our customers.
Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer needs and/or management requirements.
Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment.
Position Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and schedules on time delivery of complex parts and commodities following established procedures.
- Assists with researching, identifying and resolving customer supply support system inventory discrepancies.
- Performs audits and other forms of analysis of information; from multiple sources to determine accuracy relative to delivery schedules, inventories levels, requirements, etc.
- Reconciles discrepancies in information to mitigate or minimize disruptions in the supply chain.
- Provide onsite warehouse support for a very complex National Defense Structure.
- Interprets information to identify problems and supply chain trends or patterns.
- Coordinates with required organizations to resolve problems affecting the supply chain.
- Makes use of and applies job practices, techniques, standards, principles, and concepts.
- Develops and implement solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
- Mandates and applies policies, procedures, and practices for guidance to daily activities and other employees.
- Works under general supervision.
- Contributes and oversees the completion of organizational projects and goals.
- Interacts primarily with internal and external customers. Represents the organization on specific projects to leadership and customer.
- Identifying and correcting conditions and behaviors that affect employee, public, and customer safety; upholding safety standards; demonstrating proactive safety culture leadership.
- Knowledge of techniques to help identify a customers organization, capabilities, practices, support resources, preferences, problems, and other constraints in order to provide effective product support and technical issue resolution.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics support, fleet management, supply chain management, or Performance Based Logistics/contracting
- Minimum 2 years of experience using a computer-based inventory management system
- At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able (on potentially short notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customers needs and statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.

- Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime including rotating shifts.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Knowledge of Boeings organizations, processes, program plans, policies and procedures, and products required to effectively perform functional responsibilities of the occupation.
- Strong PC skills and experience utilizing Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, and Word are desired.
- Experience with quality management systems preferred.
- Proactive self-starter who possesses a positive work attitude and has strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, people and communication skills.
- Ability to perform as a team member and bring a safety culture that assures mission success and employee safety.

Summary pay range: $79,900 - $108,100.
