In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks in support of the Warehouse and Transportation operations including receiving, stocking, picking and shipping of material. You will display knowledge of warehouse, inventory control and transportation procedures and ensure accountability for all transactions required in order to maintain the integrity of warehouse operations.

The Airbus Helicopters Flexrotor Program offers one of the most sophisticated small tactical unmanned aerial systems (STUAS) with vertical take-off and landing (VTOL). It can be used day or night by US and allied forces for a diverse range of intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance (ISTAR) on land and at sea.

Your Challenges:
Transportation 80
Prepare Bill of Ladens, Commercial Invoices, Shipper Letters of Instructions and Dangerous goods declarations
Properly package dangerous goods material for transporting DOT or IATA
Choosing proper freight forwarders for CONUS and OCONUS shipments
Choosing proper bin location to stock odd/oversize parts
Choosing proper packaging and shipping materials used when packing/shipping to ensure that no damage occurs during transit and complies with the contract requirements for packaging and preservation.
Researching Hazardous material and how to package and preparing required document.
Prioritizing shipments going to different buildings, sites and customers.
Kitting/Packaging: 20
Kit and deliver manufacturing orders to the production floor technician
Relieve and package the material for aircraft use or spares in the field
Picking and shipping the right parts and quantity of parts ordered by the customer
Ensuring parts will arrive in good condition
This position has a big influence on the impact to customers for the following reasons:
Last line of defense before parts are shipped to customer, must have a high degree of accuracy
Reacting quickly to over the counter and door to door shipments to ensure we can obtain the earliest flight possible
Providing good customer service to both internal and external customers.
Additional Responsibilities:
Receiving Material / Put away material in the warehouse
Packaging items for outbound shipping
Ship Return materials to vendors and from customers sites
Complying with the FTZ Rules and Regulations
Your Boarding Pass:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of (3) years-related Warehouse and Transportation experience
Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Air certification
Surface Transportation of Hazardous Material certification
FedEx/UPS/DHL System
US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)
Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form in English
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 50lbs/23kgs. Daily
Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull carts and small items up to 50lbs/23kgs. Daily
Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on the computer. Daily
Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving. Daily
Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor. Daily
Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice.
Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces. Daily
Personal Protective Equipment required: Required PPE includes, but is not limited to, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or Protective Gloves as required by site and/or customer site Daily
Administrative position only PPE required: Steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visits; appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor. Daily
Salary range:Salary range based on the required profile: $17.00 - $27.85 per hour, depending on experience. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on geographic differential. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
