Contract Position
$33.80/Hour
Join a team dedicated to designing and producing armored combat and support vehicles. As a prime mover in ground force capabilities, this firm provides innovative solutions that ensure the safety and effectiveness of military personnel worldwide, focusing on durability, mobility, and performance.
Responsibilities:
Support logistics operations by receiving, storing, issuing, and managing bench stock, repair parts, tools, and STTE for Stryker vehicles.
Maintain manual and automated property records within maintenance management systems.
Conduct HAZMAT shelf-life surveillance and management.
Generate Reorder/Reorder Point (RO/ROP) reports to support inventory management.
Perform location accountability surveys and inventories; update associated records for tools and STTE.
Provide administrative and operational support to Tool Room personnel.
Operate material handling equipment (MHE) and commercial vehicles for transportation of repair parts and supplies.
Perform duties in varying environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 3 years of logistics experience, specifically with military logistics terminology, processes, and supply support activities.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally (OCONUS) with the Stryker Team as needed.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and able to become proficient with Lotus Notes.
Experience and proficiency with Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS), including GCSS-A.
Familiarity with National Stock Numbers (NSNs), hand receipts, tool nomenclature, and supply documentation.
Valid vehicle operator’s license with ability to obtain DA Form 348 for forklift and MHE operation.
Knowledge of property management and supply operations.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work at heights, including ladder use.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Desired Skills:
Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (Non-U.S. Citizens may not be eligible).
Experience with SAMS-E, SARS, LMP, and PBUSE systems.
Familiarity with military standards and testing requirements.
Previous experience supporting ground combat vehicle programs.
Willingness to work occasional evening and/or weekend overtime as needed.
