Aircraft TechnicianJob Description
As an Aircraft Technician, you will be responsible for the disassembly and assembly of aircraft parts, including wings, fuselage, and landing gear, following engineering drawings and specifications. You will perform line maintenance (on-call and scheduled) work on various customers aircraft and ensure routine maintenance and airworthiness releases are completed, returning aircraft to service. You will service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, engines, and associated components, troubleshooting systems and performing repairs to maintain full functioning equipment according to approved technical data.
Responsibilities
- Disassemble and assemble aircraft parts, including wings, fuselage, and landing gear, following engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform line maintenance (on-call and scheduled) on various customers aircraft.
- Perform routine maintenance and airworthiness releases, returning aircraft to service.
- Service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, engines, and associated components.
- Troubleshoot systems; disassemble, repair, and reassemble sections and components.
- Ensure all departing aircraft are safe in accordance with FAR’s and the air carrier/manufacturer manuals.
- Properly document all work performed.
- Collaborate and communicate with the air carrier’s maintenance control center as required.
Essential Skills- 2-3+ years experience in aircraft maintenance.
- Recent line maintenance experience with an emphasis on troubleshooting, daily and turn checks.
- Boeing aircraft maintenance experience, specifically B737, B757, B767, B777, B747, with a requirement for B767.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- A&P license.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, and utilize hand and finger dexterity.
- Ability to climb, balance, bend, crawl, and work at heights.
- Ability to frequently lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds.
- Awareness of working near moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals, and exposure to loud noises.
- Utilize visual acuity to operate equipment and read technical information.
- Exposure to weather conditions and non-weather conditions such as extreme heat or cold.
- Proficiency in reading and writing English.
- Must be eligible for a SIDA badge and travel for work as required.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.

Work Environment
Work is performed at the airport hangar with shifts including days and nights open from 6 pm to 7 am or 6 am to 7 pm. The first 3 days of the shift are 12 hours, followed by a 6-hour shift on the 4th day. Shifts include Wednesday - Saturday or Sunday - Wednesday.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
