The Aircraft Engine Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on aircraft engines and related components. This role involves working on-site and off-site, supporting engine installations, disassemblies, and operational tests while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct periodic inspections of aircraft engines, including Major Periodic Inspections (MPI) and Hot Section Inspections (HSI) following maintenance manuals.
Diagnose and repair basic engine and aircraft-related issues at various locations.
Assist in complex engine repairs and troubleshooting in collaboration with senior technicians.
Remove, install, and replace engines and accessories.
Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble aircraft engines with precision.
Replace Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) as required.
Support aircraft fueling and defueling operations.
Assist in performing engine operational checks and functional tests.
Operate ground support equipment (GSE), such as power units, tugs, hydraulic mules, and oxygen servicing units.
Work alongside Aviation Maintenance Technicians and Electronic/Avionics Technicians in troubleshooting and repairing aircraft systems.
Perform basic sheet metal and electrical repairs when necessary.
Access and reinstall aircraft components obstructing assigned maintenance tasks.
May act as a Designated Inspector (DI) if qualified by Quality Assurance (QA).
Provide support to team members across different maintenance areas.
Requirements Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license is required.
3+ years of experience in aircraft turbine engine maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and repair manuals accurately.
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
Familiarity with aircraft maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
Experience working with ground support equipment (GSE) is a plus.
Willingness to travel for on-site and off-site maintenance assignments.
