Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Aircraft Mechanic holding a valid A&P certificate with Inspection Authorization (IA). The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of experience as an IA and a strong working knowledge of general aviation and turboprop aircraft. This role involves performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs while ensuring compliance with all FAA regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform annual inspections and return-to-service approvals in accordance with IA privileges
- Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on general aviation and turboprop aircraft
- Accurately document all maintenance actions in compliance with FAA regulations
- Diagnose mechanical and system issues and implement effective solutions
- Ensure aircraft meet airworthiness standards prior to release
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain workflow efficiency and safety
- Stay current with FAA regulations, service bulletins, and industry best practices
