Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Aircraft Mechanic holding a valid A&P certificate with Inspection Authorization (IA). The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of experience as an IA and a strong working knowledge of general aviation and turboprop aircraft. This role involves performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs while ensuring compliance with all FAA regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform annual inspections and return-to-service approvals in accordance with IA privileges
• Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on general aviation and turboprop aircraft
• Accurately document all maintenance actions in compliance with FAA regulations
• Diagnose mechanical and system issues and implement effective solutions
• Ensure aircraft meet airworthiness standards prior to release
• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain workflow efficiency and safety
• Stay current with FAA regulations, service bulletins, and industry best practices

Qualifications

• Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate required
• Current Inspection Authorization (IA) required
• 1–3 years of experience operating under IA privileges
• Strong knowledge of general aviation and turboprop aircraft systems
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and technical data
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a Part 145 repair station or similar environment
• Familiarity with common GA platforms and turboprop systems
• Avionics troubleshooting experience is a plus
