About the RoleAs an Aircraft Mechanic, you will play a vital role in building, maintaining, and modifying aircraft structural assemblies to exacting standards. Based in Iuka, MS, you’ll directly support production and maintenance operations that keep high-performance aerospace systems mission-ready and on schedule.
What You’ll DoIn this role, you will:
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
- Fabricate and assemble structural components using precision drilling, countersinking, riveting, and fastening techniques
- Align and fit parts using jigs, templates, and fixtures
- Perform hands-on operations including filing, sawing, trimming, crimping, reaming, and drilling
- Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to verify quality and tolerances
- Modify assemblies as needed to incorporate engineering changes and process improvements
- Utilize manufacturing systems and shop controls in daily production activities
- Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements while working on the shop floor
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in production methods and efficiency
Required Qualifications- High school diploma or GED
- At least 4 years of experience working with hydraulic parts, assemblies, or systems in aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing, or maintenance environments
- Ability to perform physically demanding, repetitive tasks, including lifting up to 35 lbs, bending, kneeling, working overhead, and in confined spaces
- Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
- Successful completion of required training and compliance programs
- Flexibility to work any shift as needed
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in aerospace manufacturing environments
- Proficiency with standard measuring tools and power hand tools (e.g., drills, grinders, calipers, micrometers)
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical instructions and engineering drawings
- Experience following electronic or written work instructions

Pay Details: $66.80 per hour
