The A&P Mechanic troubleshoots, repairs, inspects, and performs maintenance on customer aircraft. All work is performed and documented in accordance with appropriate manuals and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
• Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations.
• Operate ground support equipment as required.
• Perform mechanical and electrical removals and installations.
• Assist with fuel and/or de-fuel of aircraft as needed.
• Assist with engine removal and installation.
• Assist with aircraft component repair.

• A&P Certificate
• At least 2 years of aircraft maintenance experience or substantiated equivalent experience
• Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
• Effective communication skills in both written and verbal forms
• Ownership of a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory and control of tools
• Ability to obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as required
• Capability to work unscheduled overtime, including non-scheduled workdays and holidays
• Ability to work in seasonal/inclement weather conditions
• Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge (if applicable)

• Experience with corporate jet aircraft, military fixed-wing, or commercial aircraft - preferred
• Basic PC skills - preferred

Work Environment

Second Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-2:00am. Weekend Shift: Friday-Sunday, 3/12s schedule, working 36 hours but paid for 40.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $48.00/hr.
